Little Happy Haus offers two type of rental plans.
1. Little Happy Haus Capsule Subscription
1.1 With a monthly subscription fee of $50, you get a curated box of premium baby clothes from your favourite brands, for your use as long as they fit and suit your family’s needs. Whenever your little one outgrows the box, you can swap in the old box for a new one. Up size clothes without having to worry about clutter in your house or about sending your used items to a landfill!
1.2 You pay a monthly fee for using the clothes and get convenient home delivery and pick-up. You can cancel your subscription any time you like, without any penalty.
1.3 Spend your precious time with your little ones instead of shopping for outfits. Save your home space for beautiful moments instead of decluttering every few months. And join us in this sustainable parenthood movement to make our world a better place to live in!
2. Little Happy Haus Members Pay-As-You-Rent
2.1 To rent an item from us, you must place a membership deposit with us if you are not a local resident. If you are not a local resident, we will write to you to request for a deposit.
2.2 Little Happy Haus shall be entitled to forfeit and/or retain any part of the deposit in the event that the renter breaches any terms or fail to pay any monies owing or due to us.
2.3 Deposit shall only be refunded when your account is closed and we have confirmed that all dues have been paid for and that you have been discharged of all obligations. The refund process will be within 5-20 working days after closure of the account. The deposit shall not be used to off-set any dues to Little Happy Haus.
2.4 Little Happy Haus reserves the right to request for a higher membership deposit if required.
3.1 We may place limits on the rental of items, including but not limited to restricting orders placed under a single customer account, payment card or billing or shipping address. We reserve the right to limit, cancel or prohibit any rentals of products for any reason, including but not limited to availability concerns.
3.2 You are to provide an accurate mailing address for us to arrange for a courier to send your rented item(s) to you. Should you provide an inaccurate mailing address resulting in delivery delay, additional delivery or loss of item, you will be liable for such delays, additional delivery fees or replacement fee.
3.3 Upon delivery, you will be responsible for the rented items. You agree to treat the items with reasonable care. You are responsible for loss, destruction or damage to the items due to theft, mysterious disappearance, fire, major stains or any other cause, other than normal wear and tear. Normal wear and tear encompasses minor stains, scratches or other minor damages. If you return an item that is damaged beyond normal wear and tear, you agree that we shall charge you, and you shall pay, for the price for repairing or replacing the item, as determined in our discretion, up to the retail value for the item(s) listed on Little Happy Haus.
3.4 We will make sure all the items are fully functional before shipping it out. As the pieces you receive may have used by other families, normal wear and tear (minor stains, scratches or other minor damages) is expected. However, if you find any damaged or missing pieces, please write to us at hello@littlehappyhaus within 24 hours upon receiving the items and our team will contact you within one working day. Any damages that have not been reported to us within 24 hours upon receipt of the rented item(s) shall be deemed as damage incurred during your duration of rental.
3.5 You are responsible for ensuring that all items are utilized in appropriate ways following usage instructions, including items being used only by kids of recommended age. You accept and agree to release Little Happy Haus from any liability for injury, sickness or loss resulting from the use of the equipment and to not seek compensation from us. Little Happy Haus will assist in filing for claims against the manufacturer, if applicable.
3.6 You agree that all items rented from Little Happy Haus should only be used for personal purposes. Commercial use for any items is not allowed, unless there is special agreement with Little Happy Haus prior to its usage.
4. Damage and misuse
4.1 In the unlikely scenario that we send you an item which has damaged part or missing parts, this will be highlighted to you when you receive your item.
4.2 Any damages that have not been reported to us within 24 hours upon receiving the products shall be deemed as damage incurred during your duration of rental.
4.3 Little Happy Haus reserves the right during the 7-day inspection period to inspect rental items after it has been returned to us. During the 7-day inspection period, should the items be found damaged and/or parts are found missing, we are entitled to follow up with you after this inspection period for the cost of compensation. Our team will provide evidence of any damages and contact you at maximum 7 days after return. You will be fully responsible for any damages and/or incomplete sets. Normal wear and tear encompasses minor stains, scratches or other minor damages - for which, we will not seek compensation.
4.4 If you return an item that is damaged beyond normal wear and tear, Little Happy Haus will first seek the solution of a repair, and bill the repair cost back to you. If the item cannot be repaired, Little Happy Haus will look to replace the damaged item (at market price) and bill the replacement cost back to the customer. Invoice for replacement or repair is to be accepted by you as final.
4.5 Theft or loss of an item during your rental duration is not covered by our insurance; therefore you will be responsible for the full retail price of the item.
4.6 Little Happy Haus reserves the right to charge rental fees or any additional fee until the payment is received in full.
5. Exchange of items
5.1 We do not allow exchange of item(s) during rental period.
6. Refunds and cancellation
6.1 After you have confirmed the rental service with us, our system will place the selected items on reservation immediately. There will be strictly no refunds or cancellations after you have made the payment for the rental.
