I bought this for my 3 year to help her understand feelings. The artwork is lovely and the descriptions of the different feelings are really good and written in a way for young children to understand what can be a complex subject without dumbing it down. The book talks about common feelings like happy and sad but also less commonly talked about feelings like hopeful and calm. Most importantly my 3 year old loves it and frequently asks for her heart book and she has been able to communicate better how she is feeling when she's sad, angry, etc.
